In 1995, he defeated India number one. Three months later, he beat Maharashtra number one. The very next day, he made a life-altering decision to quit a very important match and a budding sports career. He left the tournament midway. After that day, he never played carrom with the same intensity again. We are a sum total of the choices we make and the paths we decide to travel on … and nobody I know has a better story about life decisions than my guest today.
